Great news for VRR. The judging panel for the Air Cargo News Awards 2021 has announced this year’s finalists, and we’ve been nominated for the Product Innovation Award.
This is the 37th edition of the prestigious Air Cargo News Awards, which is seen by many as the Oscars of the air freight industry. Winning an award at this event is a sign you’ve made it as a market leader, so we’re super excited that our Air7 —the world’s first inflatable AKE container and the first ever inflatable solution for Unit Load Devices on the market—has been shortlisted.
A record number of entries
The last 18 months have been tough for all those in the air freight industry. Therefore, it’s wonderful to hear that a record number of entries were submitted for the eight award categories, including Best Freight Operator, Air Cargo Pharma Award and Ground Handler of the Year. It proves how resilient and forward-thinking the entire industry is.
All entries will be judged by a team of senior independent figures within the air cargo industry, and the winner will be revealed at the awards ceremony. This year it takes place at The Runnymede on Thames Hotel on Thursday, 16 September. (Yes, this is an in-person event, just like the good old days.)
